The best things in life come free!

I was getting worked up with my monthly budget planning. Prices of daily consumables have gone up considerably. It is a reality with an economist's expalanation of inflation with too much money chasing too few goods due to the liquidity pumped into the system to revitalise the economy. The flood in July '09 destroying crops worth billions of rupees added to the price rise.

With employers hesitating to give the annual pay hike to employees to combat price inflation in an economy that is yet to show solid signs of recovery, one has to balance the budget by reallocating contributions towards each basket, which calls for some sacrifices. Taking away the comforts that one is used to hurts at first thought.
